Biography
Andreja Rojko received B.Sc.
(1997) and Ph.D. (2002) degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of
Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, Slovenia.
While working toward the Ph.D. degree she was a National Science Junior
Researcher. She is currently at the Institute of Robotics, University of
Maribor, Slovenia where she works as a Research Assistant since 2001. Since
2008 she is elected Assistant Professor for Automation and Robotics. Her
research interests include modern education methods, remote experiments,
lifelong and distance learning as well as motion control in robotics and
mechatronics, soft computing systems, real-time control systems and mobile robots.
Her other activities include working on several bilateral and international
projects concerning e-learning and other modern education methods. She is IEEE
Member and IEEE Education Society member and also rewiever for journals and
conferences, member of program committees for conferences and active at the
promotion of engineering study.
