Biography

Andreja Rojko received B.Sc. (1997) and Ph.D. (2002) degrees in electrical engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, University of Maribor, Slovenia. While working toward the Ph.D. degree she was a National Science Junior Researcher. She is currently at the Institute of Robotics, University of Maribor, Slovenia where she works as a Research Assistant since 2001. Since 2008 she is elected Assistant Professor for Automation and Robotics. Her research interests include modern education methods, remote experiments, lifelong and distance learning as well as motion control in robotics and mechatronics, soft computing systems, real-time control systems and mobile robots. Her other activities include working on several bilateral and international projects concerning e-learning and other modern education methods. She is IEEE Member and IEEE Education Society member and also rewiever for journals and conferences, member of program committees for conferences and active at the promotion of engineering study.

·   Kinematics and dynamics of mechatronic devices and robots.

·   Dynamics of mobile robots.

·   Rapid prototyping methods in control design and implementation.

·   Lifelong and distance learning.
